*UPDATE 12/24/08
I noticed in my meter that a number of people get to read this entry because they're looking for gift ideas for their loved ones. So, I wrote down what I gave to my boyfriend and read the comments coz some people shared their ideas too.
While every blogger usually make a Wordless Wednesday post, I'm making it on a Monday. Hhhhmm... How about Mum Monday? :DThis is an unfinished drawing of me and my boyfriend that I made for our 1st monthsary last Dec. 26th. On May 26th, it would be our half year anniversary and his 23rd birthday!
But we are about 8509 miles away from each other now :(. We wished to celebrate it together but plans and bookings were canceled many times. It's quiet frustrating. I just want to make these celebrations worth remembering.
So let me ask you, what is the sweetest long distance gift ideas for a boyfriend?
1. Books (Little Prince, The Prophet and "The Caged Virgin" by Ayaan Hirsi Ali-I believe he love this author)
2. "I love you" Magic Egg - if you want to send your feelings in a unique way, this is a nice idea. You can google it to know how it sweetly works :)
3. Love Letters
4. If you know how to draw, making a portrait of him or both would be really creative
5. Just remember that it's the thought that counts ;-)

Hi,
Thanks for the visit at my site Movin forward and Secret Place.
My bf's bday is tomorrow but I can't be there to celebrate it with him. But we arranged plans this weekend to be together and celebrate. I think the best gift for your be bf is to have time for him. But if its really impossible to be with him, anything that comes from you will be very special to him.
Wish I could help u there.. I'm kinda in a similar situation too ;-P
But I think your drawing is a really personal and sweet gift..
Or you could send him a cd with a video recording of yourself sending him a greeting or something?
I remember doing that once for my anniversary for an ex as well..
to asecretplace: very welcome... youre right, i have somethin in mind already, its even in a box too. i want somethin really personal. well, thank you:D sure you and your guy would have a wonderful weekend..
to pam: :D i did a video already last christmas, but i think thats still a great idea for a bday pam!i wonder if your ex still kept that lol. just teasing.. how many miles away is your current bf?

Hi Catea! Just want to share with you what I've sent to Dana on his birthday when I was still in the Philippines..
Aside from a card, I made a hand written love letter for him... Also, he loves golf, so I sent him small golf clubs figurine... I remember sending him another figurine, an old couple...I told him that's what I dream for him and I, to grow old together... Well, he loved it, he actually cried!!
so you must be debbie then :D..
aaawww, thats so sweet of you. yeh, although ive sent him a love letter already, i think theres nothing wrong about expressing it over and over:D...
so i think, i should give him somethin thats somehow relates to what he loves to do.. thank you...

Hey Cathara,
How'd did your half year anniversary go? I can totally relate. My girlfriend was in Germany and I was in Australia. It sucked and I ended up making like 4 trips over to Germany in a year and a half. She ended up coming to Australia for a year and now it's my turn in Germany.
One gift that would be cool is a nice video tease that you could post for him on googlevideo or youtube (make sure you keep the settings on private). Or send him a something with your perfume on it and a plane ticket?
Another idea is a custom figurine from http://www.minimegifts.com - you can get your own figurine made straight from your photo. You can get one for you and one for yourself. That would be pretty cool.
pair that beautiful flowers to an original heart-felt poem, perhaps. ah, now that is a heart warming gift. :)
I found this site using google.com And i want to thank you for your work. You have done really very good site. Great work, great site! Thank you!
Sorry for offtopic
You have really great taste on catch article titles, even when you are not interested in this topic you push to read it
What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
thanks for this nice post 111213
